Affiliated Minister

Channing Unitarian Universalist Church is pleased to announce the appointment of Rev. Dr. Judith Campbell as Affiliated Minister. Rev. Judy's lifelong ministry is centered on “creativity and the holy spirit.” She served the Unitarian Universalist Association as both a parish and community minister in several communities, and she has facilitated creative writing retreats across the US and UK. Campbell is also the author of the widely read Olympia Brown and Viridienne Greene Mysteries.

Unlike a permanent minister, an affiliated minister conducts worship services, provides pastoral care, and participates in other aspects of church life on an as-needed basis. Rev. Judy will serve in this capacity until we are ready to conduct a ministerial search and appoint a permanent minister – something she will help prepare the congregation for.
